CR-V Performance Capabilities

The Honda CR-V comes standard with a 1.5L turbocharged in-line 4-cylinder engine. This means that gas models of the CR-V can achieve up to 190 horsepower and 179 lb-ft of torque. The standard 2WD models of the CR-V offer an EPA-estimated 28 city MPG and 34 highway MPG.¹

There is a Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System™ available for gas models if you want improved traction. This all-wheel-drive system comes standard on the hybrid trims.

The hybrid has a 2.0L i-VTEC® Atkinson-cycle engine and an electric motor powered by a lithium-ion battery. This powertrain produces up to 212 total system horsepower. Plus, the hybrid CR-V earned an EPA-estimated 40 city MPG and 35 highway MPG.²
