Honda Ridgeline Stability & Traction Control

Every Ridgeline trim level comes equipped with the Intelligent Variable Torque Management™ (i-VTM4®) AWD System, which helps you maintain traction and stability control during those icy winter commutes, or off-roading adventures.

The Intelligent Traction Management system allows you to toggle between four different drive modes depending on the terrain you’re traveling over; Normal, Snow, Sand, and Mud.

The fully independent front and rear suspension makes your drive as smooth as possible. The unibody construction is approximately 45% of the body and frame, and is made of light-weight, high-strength steel that adds extra protection.

Honda Sensing® Technologies

Every 2021 Ridgeline comes equipped with the Honda Sensing® Safety system, which includes driver-assistant features designed to act as a second set of eyes on the road ahead

• Standard Collision Mitigation Braking System™

This feature helps you avoid collisions by monitoring the vehicle ahead of you. In the event of an emergency, it will apply braking pressure to lessen the severity of impact.

• Standard Road Departure Mitigation System

This feature monitors the road markings and alerts you if it senses you drifting, and it will also provide gentle steering assistance to help you stay securely in the center of your lane.

• Standard Adaptive Cruise Control

This feature is ideal for highway drivers, as it helps you maintain a safe distance behind other vehicles. It can automatically slow down or speed up your Ridgeline depending on the flow of traffic.

• Standard Lane Keeping Assist System

This feature works with the Adaptive Cruise Control system to subtly adjust your steering so you stay in your lane.

There are also a few available features for you to choose from. The available Blind Spot Information System with Cross Traffic Monitor will allow you to merge lanes with confidence, by alerting you if a vehicle is entering your blind spots as you attempt to switch over.

The available Auto High-Beam Headlights provide improved visibility when traveling at night since they’ll automatically toggle between low and high beams depending on your surroundings.
